Creating and Connecting to a Phrase Library

To use a Library Phrase data source for your document, you must first create and then connect to a phrase library. The phrases in the library are then available to be used as data sources.

You can use Data Builder to create a phrase library as part of a Data Builder database and then use the Connect to a Library dialog in BarTender to access and connect to it. Or, you can use the Create a Phrase Library dialog in BarTender to create and automatically connect to a new library, which is then saved in a Data Builder database.

For more information about how to use Data Builder to create a database that includes a phrase library, refer to the Data Builder help system.
