Purging Database Records

You can delete (purge) all information that has been logged to the BarTender System Database, including all print jobs and application messages. This does not affect any files stored in Librarian, Global Data Fields, or other configuration data.

The following tasks should be performed prior to purging the database records:

  • Stop all applications actively sending information to the BarTender System Database to prevent possible data corruption.

  • Backup your database.
