Exporting Images

Use the Export Image dialog to export your entire template or data entry form, or specific objects on your template or form, to an image that can be either copied to the Clipboard or saved to an image file. You can also specify options for your exported image by using the Export Image dialog.

ClosedTo export an image of an entire template or data entry form

  1. Click a blank area of the template or form, so that no objects or controls are selected.

  2. On the File menu, click Export Image to open the Export Image dialog. Alternatively, use the secondary mouse button to click an empty area on the template or form, and then click Export Image.

  3. In the dialog, specify the options that you want, and then click OK.

    If you specify that you want to save the image to a file, the Save File dialog opens, and you can then save the exported image in a supported image file type. Otherwise, the image is copied to the Clipboard, and you can then paste it into another program as an image.

ClosedTo export an image of one or more selected objects or controls

  1. On the template or form, click to select one or more objects and controls.

  2. On the File menu, click Export Image to open the Export Image dialog. Alternatively, use the secondary mouse button to click one of the selected objects or controls, and then click Export Image.

  3. In the dialog, specify the options that you want, and then click OK.

    If you specify that you want to save the image to a file, the Save File dialog opens, and you can then save the exported image in a supported image file type. Otherwise, the image is copied to the Clipboard, and you can then paste it into another program as an image.

You can quickly export the template, form, or selected objects and controls by clicking Quick Export Image on the File menu. This option exports the content to an image by using the most recent settings that were specified on the Export Image dialog. If you previously specified that the image is saved to a file, the Save File dialog opens. Otherwise, the content is copied to the Clipboard.
