BarTender supports a number of popular weighing models that you can easily connect to by using the Add Scale wizard.
To review a list of the supported scale manufacturers and the specific scale connection settings that each of these requires to communicate with BarTender, refer to Configuring Your Scale Hardware.
To verify that BarTender supports a specific model of a supported manufacturer, refer to Installing a Scale.
To add a supported weighing scale

Make sure that you install the scale that you want on your computer before you start the Add Scale wizard.

On the Administer menu, click Weighing Scale Setup. If no are installed, the Add Scale wizard automatically opens. Otherwise, click Add Scale on the Weighing Scale Setup dialog to start the Add Scale wizard.

On the Welcome page of the wizard, click Next.

On the Select Scale Model page, select your scale's manufacturer in the Manufacturer pane.

In the Models pane, select your scale's model name.

Click Next, and then complete the remaining steps of the wizard, which include specifying a name for your scale and defining its connection options. For more information about connection options, refer to Weighing Scale Configuration and Configuring Your Scale Hardware.
When you complete the wizard, your scale appears in the Installed Scales list in the Weighing Scale Setup dialog.
