Wrap Width Dialog |
Use the Wrap Width dialog, which you can access by clicking the icon on the Wrap tab of the Text Format property page, to specify the wrap width behavior of the selected text or barcode object.
Wrap Width
Wrap to specified width: Specifies that the text wraps within the object's defined width. This is the default option for text objects.
Wrap Width: Specifies the width for the selected object.
Wrap to barcode width: Specifies that the width of the paragraph is based on the width of the barcode itself. The size of the barcode will vary based on the data that is encoded into the barcode object. When this option is combined with automatic sizing, you can set the human readable characters to always match the width of the barcode object. This option is available when you are configuring a barcode object.
Minimum Width: Specifies the minimum paragraph width for the selected barcode object. Use careful consideration when setting a minimum width. For example, if you are encoding "01" into a barcode that is only 0.1 inches wide, each character of the human readable characters becomes its own line.
Automatically size to fit text: Specifies that the object is automatically resized to fit the width of the text, maintaining all formatting attributes including font size, scale, and character spacing. This is the default option for barcode objects.

Selecting the Automatically size to fit text option can result in a paragraph that is too wide for your document. To make sure that the paragraph fits your document as expected, test the width by using the largest text size that you plan to use for the object. |
