Text Object |
A text object allows you to place text or a text symbol on the template. The text can be provided at design time, or inserted at print time by a specified data source or a data entry form control.
You can add several different types of text objects to your template. The fairly standard normal and normal wrapped (paragraph) types of text objects are available, as well transformed text objects. In addition, you can choose from a word processor text object that allows you to add rich text to the text field, markup language containers supporting RTF, HTML, and XAML, and symbol font characters that support industry-specific graphic symbols.
Procedures for modifying the contents of a text object may differ depending on the selected text object type.
The Text Properties dialog provides access to the property pages for normal, normal wrapped, transformed, and symbol font character text objects. You can use these property pages to customize these objects to your design needs.
