User Memory Access Control Options Dialog |
The options in the User Memory Access Control Options dialog enable you to specify which blocks of the user memory bank to lock.
You can access this dialog by clicking Range on an RFID encoder object's Security property page.
Range to Permanently Lock
Lock entire memory bank: When this option is selected, the entire user memory bank is locked.
Lock modified blocks when specified: When this option is selected, the Lock after writing data check box is made available on the encoder object's RFID property page (after BarTender has been restarted). If the Lock after writing data check box is then selected, the user blocks that are written to by that object are permanently locked.
|
Enabling the Lock after writing data property affects only the user memory blocks. EPC and TID memory blocks are not affected. |
Lock specified range: When this option is selected, you can define a section of the user memory bank to lock.
Starting Section: Specifies the beginning section of the user memory bank to include in the lock.
Number of Sections: Specifies the number of sections in the user memory bank to include in the lock.
