RFID Security Password Dialog |
An RFID security password dialog is the general dialog name that represents the following specific dialogs:
New Password
Old Password
Kill Password
Access Password
One or more of these dialogs may be accessed from the Security property page, depending on the printer you have selected for your document, the encoder tag you have specified for the RFID encoder object, and the settings you have chosen on the Security property page.
Each dialog can be opened by clicking to the right of its associated password field on the Security property page.
Each dialog contains the following options:
Password Source: Allows you to select a password source from the dropdown list. The following options are available:
Constant Value: Specifies that a constant value will be used as the password. Constant value restrictions are enforced based on the requirements of the selected encoder tag (for instance, password length or hex-only).
Password: Enter the constant value you want to use for the password.
Random: Inserts a random value into the Password field, which is used to fill in placeholder data to meet password requirements. This option does not create a random value each time the document is printed.
Named Data Source: Specifies that a named data source value will be used as the password.
Data Source: Allows you to select the existing named data source whose value will be used as the password.
Database Field: Specifies that a database field value will be used as the password.
Field Name: Allows you to select the existing database field whose value will be used as the password.
