True Type Font Warning Dialog |
The True Type Font Warning dialog is a print-time dialog that is displayed at the beginning of a print job when all of the following conditions are true:
The font that is assigned to one or more objects on your template is a TrueType font.
You are printing to a thermal printer.
The Warn When Using TrueType Fonts option on the Performance tab of the Print dialog is selected.
TrueType fonts have some advantages, such as printing items exactly as they appear on the template. However, performance on thermal printers may be significantly reduced when these fonts are used. Use the settings in this dialog to specify whether you want your TrueType font to be replaced at print time by the built-in printer font that most closely resembles it. Depending on the complexity of the templates in your document, this replacement process might significantly increase the speed at which your items are printed, especially if the text in question changes from item to item.
