Export Printer Code Template Dialog |
Use the Export Printer Code Template dialog, which you can access on the File menu, to generate a printer code template by using a specified print system. You can also specify whether the formatting and data information should be combined into a single printer code template or split into two separate files.
The following options are available:
Print System:
More Options: Opens the Printer Code Template Options dialog.
Output
To Port: Sends the exported printer code template to the port that is used by the current printer, keyboard terminal, XML-enabled printer, or ERP system.

Separate Format & Data Files: Produces separate printer code templates for the formatting information and the data that is contained in the document. This option can improve printer performance by eliminating the need for the formatting information to be sent to the printer with each print job that is run. Printer Code Only:
Clear this option when you want to ensure that the format file contains all the delimiters that are specified on the Delimiter tab of the Printer Code Template Setup dialog.
Export: Exports the printer code template.
