When you configure data sources for a text object, you can use the on-screen editing functionality to add, change, delete, and format characters of an Embedded Data data source directly on the template, without needing to open any dialogs or property pages.
On-Screen Editing Context Menu
Learn how you can configure a text object's data sources by using the options that are available on the context menu when you use the on-screen editing functionality. Configuration options include changing a data source to another data source type, adding a data source to an object, creating a named data source, editing the font style or data type of a data source, and deleting a data source.
