Accessing the Custom Filter Controls |
Use the filter controls to create custom filters to display only the print job and message data that you want to see. You can access the custom filter controls by clicking Custom in the BarTender: Print Jobs view. The filter controls appear above the columns in the active pane.
By using the available options, you can run high-level filters on the data, such as filtering for failed jobs, filtering for jobs by the printer that processed them, and filtering for jobs by date. You can also create more complex filters by using the Custom option.
The following options are available:
View: Specifies a predefined filter for displaying specific records, such as "Cancelled Jobs."
Time Span: Specifies the date and time limits on the filter that is selected in the View control. The following options are available:
All: Displays all records that were processed.
Last 24 Hours: Displays all records for the last 24 hours.
Last 7 Days: Displays all records for the past seven days, not counting the current day.
Last 30 Days: Displays all records for the past 30 days.
Custom: Displays the custom filter that you can use to create a filter that meets a specific requirement. For more information, refer to Filtering Data by Date and Time.
Apply Filter: Applies the new filter to the data stored in the BarTender System Database.
