Configuring Print Portal |
After you install Print Portal, you must configure security for the application, define the folders that users can access for printing BarTender documents, and configure the printers that the documents can be printed to. You can specify most configuration options on the Administrative Setup page.
|
If authentication is enabled for Print Portal and security is enabled in BarTender Administration Console, the Administrative Setup page can be accessed only by users who have Administer permission for BarTender Print Portal as specified in Administration Console. For more information about Print Portal authentication, refer to Configuring Application and Document Security. |
Use the Administrative Setup page to configure the general application settings for Print Portal that determine how the user interface appears and functions for your print operators. You can also use this page to manage security settings and to configure document folders and printer options that are available to print operators.
