Use the Maintenance page, which is located in the System Database node of Administration Console, to enable, schedule, and customize BarTender System Database maintenance tasks.
The following options are available.
Schedule
Enable scheduled database maintenance: Specifies that database maintenance automatically occurs at the interval that you specify.
Run Maintenance: Specifies that maintenance is run daily or weekly.
Day: Specifies the day on which you want to run maintenance each week. Available when Run Maintenance is set to Weekly.
Time: Specifies the time of day at which you want maintenance to run.
Run Now: Starts the maintenance task manually.
Actions
Database Maintenance will delete records older than: Specifies the age of the records that you want to be deleted each time the maintenance task runs. For example, if you specify "2 Weeks", all records that are older than two weeks are deleted each time the maintenance task runs.
Archive deleted records: Specifies that deleted records are archived to a specified file.
File: Specifies the path and file name for the archive file. Enter the path and file name in the field, or click Browse to open the Select Archive File folder to select a file.
Append date and time to archive file: Specifies that the date and time are appended to the name of the selected file each time that deleted records are archived.
Status
Displays the next date and time that the maintenance task is scheduled to run, the date and time that it most recently ran, and whether it completed successfully.
