BarTender provides many ways to arrange objects on the template to help you achieve the design that you want. You can stack objects on top of one another for unique designs, and these objects can be rotated, resized, and more. Ruler and grid snapping can help you quickly find the correct object placement.

• Object Snapping

  Object snapping refers to a behavior of the user interface in which objects are pulled toward or guided to alignment with other elements on the template or data entry form as you move and resize them.

• Copying and Pasting Objects

  You can copy and paste objects by using standard Windows copy-and-paste and drag-and-drop operations.

• Duplicating Objects

  When you duplicate an object, you can copy it and specify (without pasting) the number of copies that you want to be placed on the template and the location of the copies relative to the original object.

• Deleting Objects

  You can delete or cut and paste objects elsewhere on the template or form.

• Resizing Objects

  You can resize any object by dragging it to the size that you want or by modifying its size properties in the Object Properties dialog.

• Moving Objects

  You can move objects on the template by using a drag-and-drop operation, by entering values on the Position property page, or by using the arrow keys on your keyboard.

• Rotating Objects

  You can rotate an object in place around its own center point or around a specified anchor.

• Stacking Objects

  Use the ability to stack objects to specify how these elements overlap one another on the template. This feature can help you add unique graphics and other special effects to your design.

• Aligning Objects

  The BarTender alignment options can help you design your template. By using these options, you can position objects relative to one another, relative to the template, or relative to a region of the template.
