Accessing the Custom Filter Controls |
The filter controls allow you to create custom filters for displaying print job and message data. You can access the filter controls by selecting the Custom button in the desired section of the View Selector. The filter controls appear above the columns in the active pane.
The filter controls allow you to isolate and display only desired data in the grid. Using the available options, you can perform high level filters on the data such as filtering for failed jobs, filtering for jobs displayed by the printer that processed them, and filtering based on the date. You can also create more complex filters using the Custom option.
View: Allows you to select a pre-defined filter for displaying specific records, such as "Cancelled Jobs", or "Login Overrides".
Time Span: Defines the date and time limits on the filter selected in the View control. You can select from the following options:
All: Displays all records processed.
Last 24 Hours: Displays all records for the last 24 hours.
Last 7 Days: Displays all records for the past 7 days, not counting the current day.
Last 30 Days: Displays all records for the past month.
Custom: Displays the custom filter that allows you to create a filter that meets a specific requirement. See Filtering Data by Date and Time for more information.
Apply Filter: Applies the new filter to the data stored in the BarTender System Database.
