Security Center: Permission Checks Pane |
The Security Center: Permission Checks pane, accessible by selecting a filter in the Security Center: Permission Checks view of the View Selector, displays the security permission checks generated by applications in the BarTender Suite. Permission checks can be browsed using the Navigation Bar at the bottom of the pane.
When Security Center performs a permission check, it stores information about the check as fields in the database. This information can be viewed by adding or removing columns in the Security Center: Permission Checks pane. The following information is stored about each permission check in the BarTender System Database:
Allowed/Denied: Displays whether the action was allowed by a BarTender application.
Application: Displays the name of the application that performed the permission check.
Computer: Displays the name of the computer on which the permission check was performed.
Electronic Signature: Displays the user name of the user providing a successful electronic signature; other data may include "cancelled" if the user did not supply an electronic signature, or "NA" if an electronic signature was not required.
Login Override: Displays the user name of the user providing a successful login override; other data may include "cancelled" if the user did not supply a login override, or "NA" if login overrides are not enabled.
Permission Requested: Displays the action that was performed when the security check occurred.
Time: Displays the local date and time that the permission check was performed.
Time: Displays the date and time in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). UTC time, or Greenwich Mean Time, is an international time scale based on the local standard time on the 0 longitude meridian in Greenwich, England.
User: Displays the name of the user who was logged onto the computer at the time of the permission check.
