Printed Item Image Pane

The Printed Image pane displays preview image(s) of the items in the selected print job. The preview image is drawn from one of two sources: either directly from an image saved to the BarTender System Database or generated on demand. You can specify whether a preview image is stored in the BarTender System Database using the Image of the Printed Item(s) option of BarTender's Log Setup dialog. If enabled, BarTender will store the preview image in the BarTender System Database log, and History Explorer will draw this image from the database. Keep in mind, however, that this logging option takes up significant space in the BarTender System Database, and can require more time to execute print jobs from BarTender.

The Printed Item Image pane can be optionally hidden using one of the following methods:

Select Printed Item Image from the View menu.
Select the icon in the top left corner of the Printed Item Image pane.
Enable the Auto Hide feature by selecting the icon.

Using the Printed Item Image pane, you can preview and reprint a print job, copy an image to the clipboard, or the save the preview image to a file. These options are available using the printed item image toolbar or the Printed Item Image Context Menu.
