Print Station supports custom icons for your folders, allowing you to represent each folder within your Library with a unique image of your choice. Print Station supports *.gif, *.jpg, and *.png files. Because custom icons allow you to easily identify folders at a glance, they are ideal for touch screen environments.
To add a custom icon to a folder
-
In Windows Explorer, copy the desired image into the folder being used for your library.
-
Right-click on the image file and select "Rename."
-
Rename the image to be identical to the name of the folder. For example, if your folder is named "Medical," you would need to rename a *.gif image to "Medical.gif."
-
Open Print Station.
-
In the left Navigation Pane, click General.
-
Under View Options, enable Show folder navigator.
-
Click OK to close the Administrative Setup dialog and return to Print Station.
