The Unknown Part Number dialog appears if a part number was entered that is not associated with any existing inventory item. It contains the following options:

• Define new item: Allows you to define a new inventory item to associate with the unknown part number using the Item Properties dialog.

• Select existing item: Allows you to select an existing inventory item from the list to associate with the unknown part number. When you click the Select button, the existing part number of the item will not be modified.
