The Receive Item dialog, accessible from the Inventory menu, allows you to increase the quantity of an existing inventory item to reflect the addition of items to storage. This feature is available for all exsiting items.

• Item: Displays the item selected for the receive operation. (Read-only)

• Location: Specifies the location into which the specified quantity of the item will be added. All defined storage locations are available for selection. If there is only one defined location, the items will automatically be added to that location and the location control will not be displayed.

• Quantity In Stock: Displays the current quantity of the item stored in the selected location. (Read-only)

• Quantity Received: Specifies the quantity of the item to be added to the selected location.

• Projected New Quantity: Displays the projected quantity of the item that will be stored in the location after the operation. (Read-only)
