The Move Item to Printer dialog is displayed when moving an item into a printer. You may modify some of the parameters and select whether to add the item or replace an item already in the printer.

• Item: Specifies the item to move into the printer. All inventory items are eligible for selection.

• From Location: Defines the location from which to move a quantity of the item. All storage locations for the current item, with a non-zero quantity, are displayed. If there is only one location available for selection, the item will automatically be removed from that location and this control will not be displayed.

• To Printer: Specifies the printer to receive the inventory item. All visible printers are eligible for selection.

• Add Item: Adds the specified inventory item to the printer.

• Replace Item: Adds the specified inventory to the printer, and replaces the item selected in the adjacent dropdown list. Identical items and, in the case of Media, items of the same type are eligible for replacement. In all other cases, an item may be added only, and the Add Item and Replace Item controls will not be displayed.

Item Usage

• Estimated Maximum: Allows you to specify a new estimated maximum for the item if different from the value set in the Usage tab of the Item Properties dialog.

• <Units> Remaining: Specifies the amount of the inventory item that remains. This can be useful when returning a partially used item to the printer. <Units> depends on the method of usage tracking chosen for the item.
