The Message Queue property page enables you to configure the following properties for your integration.

Message Queue Setup

• Protocol: Specifies that the protocol is Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ).

• Message Queue: Specifies the location of the message queue that the Integration Service will monitor. Enter the location in the input box. Alternatively, you can add a variable that specifies the message queue location. You can also add a special character to the value that you enter.

  • Create Message Queue if it does not exist: Specifies that the Integration Service will create the specified message queue if it does not exist.

Message

• Do not remove message from queue if actions fail (transactional): Specifies that if the message queue is transactional, the message will not be removed from the queue if the action fails.

• Queue Message Format: Specifies whether the format is XML or text.

• Message Encoding: When Text is selected as the queue message format, this option enables you to select the message encoding.
