You can add a variable to various properties on the integration and action property pages to specify the value for the selected property. This feature is supported for any property for which you see the insert variable controls ( and ).

• Click to open the Insert Variable dialog.

• Click to access the following menu options:

• Recently used variables: Displays a list of variables that you have previously used during the current Integration Builder session.

• More Variables: Opens the Insert Variable dialog.

• Special Character: Adds a special character to the value that you have entered. For more information, refer to Adding Special Characters.
