A deployment plan is essentially a deployment dialog that can be saved for later modification, without submitting the deployment until updates to the plan are complete.

A deployment plan must be submitted in order for it to be deployed.

Deployment plans are created and managed on the Deployment page. You can access this page using one of the following methods:

In Integration Builder, click the Administration tab, and then select Deploy from the left Navigation Pane.

In Administration Console, expand the Integrations node in the left Navigation Pane, and then click Deployment.
Once you have opened the Deployment page, you can create and edit deployment plans using the following methods:
To create a deployment plan

From the Plans tab of the Deployment page, click Add at the top-right of the page to open the New Deployment Plan dialog.

Specify the desired settings on the New Deployment Plan dialog.

Click OK to save the deployment plan and close the dialog.
To create a deployment plan from an existing plan

From the Plans tab of the Deployment page, locate the deployment plan that you want to copy to create a new deployment plan.

Click that plan's icon to open the New Deployment Plan dialog with the original plan's settings already specified.

Change the settings as desired on the New Deployment Plan dialog.

Click OK to save the deployment plan and close the dialog.
To create a deployment plan from an existing deployment

From the Deployments tab of the Deployment page, from either the Pending Deployments list or the Deployment History list, locate the deployment that you want to copy to create a new deployment plan.

Click that integration's icon to open the New Deployment Plan dialog with the original deployment's settings already specified.

Change the settings as desired on the New Deployment Plan dialog.

Click OK to save the deployment plan and close the dialog.
To edit a deployment plan

From the Plans tab of the Deployment page, locate the plan that you want to edit.

Click that plan's icon to open the plan in the Edit Deployment Plan dialog.

Change the settings as desired on the Edit Deployment Plan dialog.

Click OK to save the deployment plan and close the dialog.
To submit a deployment plan
When you have finalized your deployment plan, you must submit the plan so that it can be deployed.

From the Plans tab of the Deployment page, locate the plan that you want to submit.

Click that plan's icon to submit the plan.

Click OK to close the Integration Message dialog stating that the plan has been submitted for deployment.

Click on the Deployments tab to view the deployment in either the Pending Deployments list or the Deployment History list, depending on whether you specified immediate deployment or a future date of deployment when you designed your plan.
