Deleting Objects

The Delete command erases the currently selected object from the template. You can also remove an object from the template, but save a copy of its specifications in the clipboard using the Cut command.

  1. Click on the desired object to select it.

  2. Select the icon from the main toolbar. Alternatively, select the Cut command from the Edit menu or the object's context menu. The object will be removed from the template but a copy of its specifications will be placed in the clipboard for use later or in another template or document.

ClosedTo delete an object when you no longer need its specifications

  1. Click on the desired object to select it.

  2. Select Delete from the Edit menu or the object's context menu. BarTender will remove the selected object from the template.

After you click on the object, press Delete on your keyboard to remove it from the template.
