The Edit menu contains options that allow you to cut, copy, paste, and delete one or more objects from a template, or one or more data entry controls and objects from the Data Entry Form view. These capabilities are possible using the Windows clipboard.
The clipboard is a place in Windows memory where a copy of a single object or group of objects (and data entry controls) can be stored.
The Edit menu options are summarized below.
Undo: Reverses the previous action.
Redo: Reverses the previously undone action.
Cut: Deletes the selected item(s) (object and/or control) and copies it to the clipboard.
Copy: Copies the selected item(s) to the clipboard. This action does not delete the selected item(s).
Paste: Places a copy of the item(s) in the clipboard onto the template or data entry form. This option can also be used to add bitmaps created in other programs to a template or data entry form.
Paste Unformatted: Places a copy of the item(s) in the clipboard into the template or data entry form. When using this command, the text will automatically use the default font.
Delete: Removes the selected item(s) from the template or data entry form. This option does not copy the selected item(s) to the clipboard before deleting it.
Select All: Selects all of the items on the template or data entry form.
Select: Enables you to select objects on a template one at a time using the computer mouse. Available only in Template Design view.
Data Edit: Enables you to edit the embedded data for barcode
Properties: Opens the Object Properties dialog for the selected object.
