Changing an Object's Font Style

You can change the font style of a barcode and text objects using the object's Font property page. For barcode objects, these options affect only the human readable characters.

  1. Double-click on the desired object to open the Object Properties dialog. Alternatively, select Properties from the object's context menu.

  2. In the Navigation Pane, select Font to open the Font property page.

In addition to using the Font property page to modify the object's styles, the following text toolbar icons are provided as a shortcut for changing the indicated font styles:

Allows you to select a new font type from the dropdown list.

Allows you to select a new font size from the dropdown list.

Applies a bold font style to the text of the selected object. If a bold font style is currently applied to the text, clicking this icon will remove the font style.

Applies an italicized font style to the text of the selected object. If an italicized font style is currently applied to the text, clicking this icon will remove the font style.

Applies an underlined font style to the text of the selected object. If an underlined font style is currently applied to the text, clicking this icon will remove the font style.

Applies a white on black font style to the text of the selected object. If a white on black font style is currently applied to the text, clicking this icon will remove the font style.

Opens the Color option, allowing you to specify a new color for the text of the selected object. For more information, refer to Changing an Object's Color.
