You can use the Scale Templates dialog to quickly resize all of the objects on all of the templates in your document at once. This dialog is only available when you change the size settings for the page or the template on the Page Setup dialog. Whenever you make this type of change, a prompt appears asking whether or not you want to automatically scale the designs on the template. Clicking Yes on this prompt opens the Scale Templates dialog. Any settings you specify in the Scale Templates dialog are applied to all objects on each of the templates in your document.

Scaling Options

For the most part, scaling options are logically independent from settings specified in an object's Properties dialog. However, an object's type and settings can impact how scaling options are applied. For example, the width-to-height ratio for a barcode object will not be precisely preserved even when the Scale Proportionally option is chosen, because barcode objects must resize at specific intervals in order to remain readable. In this case, the object’s own settings take precedence over the selected scaling option.
