The Dropdown Record Picker property page enables you to customize the properties of a dropdown record picker control.

The following options are available:
Properties
Selection Display: Specifies which field of the selected record is displayed in the control after the user has selected a record from the picker.
Dropdown Width: Defines the horizontal dimension of the dropdown portion of the control in the specified unit of measurement.
Dropdown Height: Defines the vertical dimension of the dropdown portion of the control in the specified unit of measurement.
Search Control: Specifies whether a search bar is available at the top of the record picker. Using this bar, users can filter the displayed record set by entering a key word (or partial spelling of a key word).
Filter Row: Specifies whether the filter row is available just above the grid of the record picker. The filter row provides an input box for each column in the result set, into which the user can type values that are then used to filter the result set.
Always Show: When selected, the Filter Row is always available on the control with no option for users to hide it.
Show by Default: When selected, the Filter Row is available on the control by default, but users can hide it at print-time from the control's context menu.
Hide by Default: When selected, the Filter Row is hidden by default, but users can show it at print-time from the control's context menu.
Always Hide: When selected, the Filter Row is always hidden, with no option for users to show it.
Show column headers: Specifies whether or not the column headers are displayed on the record picker.
Lock column order: Restricts users from re-arranging the position of the columns in the record picker. When unchecked, users can drag and drop columns to change column order. Available when Show column headers is enabled.
Lock column widths: Restricts users from re-sizing the widths of the columns in the record picker. Available when Show column headers is checked.
Sort By: Specifies the default column you want the record set sorted by at print-time. Check Locked to disable the user's ability to change the sort option specified.
Group By: Condenses the length of the result set by grouping the records by the field (column) of your choosing. At print-time, the user can expand groups to access the records contained within them. Check Locked to disable the user's ability to change the option specified.
Row Highlighting: Specifies the row highlighting displayed on the record picker.
None: When selected, there is no row highlighting.
Even Rows: When selected, highlights only the even rows.
Odd Rows: When selected, highlights only the odd rows.
Both: When selected, highlights both the even and odd rows, but in contrasting shades.
Record numbers: When enabled, displays a numerical identifier for each record returned in the record set.
Record navigator: When enabled, displays a record navigator at the bottom of the control to assist users in browsing the record set.
