With BarTender's image capture control, you can add an image to your printed item(s) at print-time from a scanner, camera, or other video device. This is particularly useful when you need to add images to ID cards, labels, or other items at print-time. When used in conjunction with a video device or webcam connected to your computer, the image capture control on the data entry form provides a live preview; once an image is retrieved from a camera or scanner or captured using a video device, you can make modifications to the image before printing your items.

• Creating an Image Capture Control

  You can add an image capture control to your form in either the Template Design view or the Data Entry Form view. As with other types of controls, various property pages are available to help you customize the image capture control.

• Capturing an Image at Print-Time

  At print-time, BarTender enables video capture from a video device, scanner, or digital camera and provides a dialog enabling you to make adjustments to the image before printing.

• Adjust Image Dialog

  The Adjust Image dialog is available on the data entry form at print-time, after the image has been captured. It enables you to modify image qualities such as brightness, contrast, and saturation. The dialog also enables you to open the image on your computer's default image editing program for advanced editing.
