Configuring Application and Document Security

After you install Print Station, you can use the features on the Security property page to control who can access the Administrative Setup page and what print features they can use. Also, when you enable security in Administration Console, you can use Administration Console to grant and deny users permission to run and/or administer Print Station based on their user credentials.

You can also secure specific documents. To do this, use any of the following methods: 

• In Print Station, make specific root folders visible only to specified users.

• In BarTender, assign document password protection.

• In Administration Console, enable document encryption. For more information about how to do this, refer to the Administration Console help system.
