Security Property Page

Use the Security property page to configure password settings and to specify any features that you want to make unavailable to users. To access the Security property page, click the Security tab on the Administrative Setup page.

The following options are available.

Administration Password

• Require a password to open the admin page: Specifies that a password is required to open the Administrative Setup page.

• Password: Specifies the password that the user must enter.

Features to Disable

• Printer selection: Specifies that the printer selection in the Print page is locked to the printer that is specified in the BarTender document.

• Print quantity: Specifies that the quantity selection in the Print page is locked to the quantity that is specified in the BarTender document.

• Document search: Specifies that the search bar is removed from the Print Station user interface.

• Print preview: Specifies that the Preview button is removed from the Print page.

• Change view options: Specifies that the View, Group By, and Sort By filtering options are unavailable on the Home page.

Make sure to click Save to save your changes before you leave this page.
