Join Type

BarTender supports a variety join types for lines, borders, and shapes. The join type determines the manner in which two lines in close proximity connect to one another. The following joins are available:

• None. When selected, prevents BarTender from automatically joining multiple lines. With this setting, the two line objects will remain separate objects, and you can move each one independently of the other. Available for line objects.

• Mitered. When selected, formats the joint as a point, as illustrated below.

  

• Rounded. When selected, connects the two lines in a rounded shape, as illustrated below.

  

• Beveled. When selected, flattens the connection of multiple lines, as illustrated below.
