You can select directories for the following
Background Pictures. This directory is opened by default when you navigate to a picture you want to use as a background of a template. Background pictures can be set using the Background tab of the Page Setup dialog.
BarTender Batch Files. This directory is opened by default when you navigate to a BarTender batch file you want to print. Batch files can be printed using the Print Batch option of the File menu.
BTXML Scripts. This directory is opened by default when you navigate to a BTXML Script file you want to execute. BTXML Script files can be executed using the Run BTXML Script option of the File menu. If you open an BTXML Script file from another location, BarTender will use the selected location as the new default.
Components. This directory defines where
Pictures. This directory will be opened by default when you browse to a picture you want to add to a template.
RFID Antenna Images. This directory contains the images listed in the Image dropdown list on the RFID Antenna mini-tab.
To return any component to its default directory, click Reset Location to Default.

Advanced Printer and Driver Setup. Any changes made in the Advanced Printer and Driver Settings dialog are stored in a message file with the extension *.xml.
License Management. Settings made in the Licensing Setup dialog are stored in the license management configuration file, BTLM.ini. Available only for the Automation or Enterprise Automation editions of BarTender.
Message Setup. Any changes made in the Message Setup dialog are stored in a message file with the extension *.btm.
Page Setup, Custom Stocks.
Printer Code Template Setup, Custom Print Systems. When you export printer code templates, you can either use a pre-defined system of delimiters and data field names (such as SAPscript-ITF) or define one of your own. These custom print systems are stored in a custom print systems file with the extension of *.xml. Custom print systems can be created and managed using the Printer Code Template Setup dialog.
SAP IDoc Definition Setup. Any changes made in the IDoc Definitions Setup dialog are stored in a file with the extension *.itd.
Scale Models Setup. All user-defined scale models and protocols are stored in a file with the extension *.xml.
Scale Setup. All scales that are installed using the Add Scale Wizard are stored in a file with the extension *.xml. Installed scales can be managed using the Weighing Scale Setup dialog.
To return any configuration file to its default directory and file name, click Reset Location to Default.
