Border Property Page |
Borders call attention to objects on a template by surrounding them with a line or pattern. Using the Border property page, available from the Object Properties dialog, you can easily add and customize a border for any picture, text, or barcode object on your template.
Border Type. Specifies the shape of the border surrounding the selected object.
Margins
Top. Sets the amount of space between the top edge of the border and the object.
Left. Sets the amount of space between the left edge of the border and the object.
Bottom. Sets the amount of space between the bottom edge of the border and the object.
Right. Sets the amount of space between the right edge of the border and the object.
Box Options
Corner Type. Specifies whether the corners of the border are rounded, rectangular, or contain a different effect.
Opens the Corner Options dialog.
Corner Size. Sets the size of the corners of a border. The higher the value, the larger the effect on the corner.
Sides. Specifies which sides of the border will be visible. Choose from All, None, Vertical, or Horizontal.
Line Properties
Thickness. Specifies the thickness of the border.
Color. Specifies the color and/or patterns of the border. For more information, see Changing an Object's Color.
Transparency. Determines the degree to which the border allows other colors under it to be seen.
Dash Style. Determines the frequency and size of spaces appearing along the border.
Compound Style. Determines the number of lines that compose the border.
Join Type. Determines how the corners of the border are formatted.
Fill Properties
Color. Specifies the color and/or pattern of the space contained inside the border. For more information, see Changing an Object's Color.
Transparency. Determines the degree to which the space inside the border allows objects under it to be seen.
