A record picker control allows you to place a fully configurable Select Records dialog on a data entry form so that users can select the database records they want included in the print job.

At print-time, the control provides a context menu that allows users to customize the current instance of the control on the live form. It is accessed by right-clicking anywhere on the control; however, some menu selections are only available when you right-click within the record set area of the control. Additionally, customization options that have been disabled on the Record Picker property page will be disabled in the context menu.

Record Picker Properties Dialog

The Record Picker Properties dialog allows you to configure the properties of a record picker control on the data entry form. To open this dialog, double-click on the control. Alternatively, select Properties from the control's context menu.

In the Record Picker Properties dialog, you can access the following property pages from the Navigation Pane:

• Columns Property Page

• Data Entry Property Page

• Font Property Page

• Linked Data Source Property Page

• Position Property Page

• Record Picker Property Page

• Selected Control Property Page

• Text Label Property Page
