Information for Administrators

This section provides information that administrators should understand so as to make sure that users experience a successful transition to the updated sign-in process.

Signing In to BarTender Cloud

The transition to the enhanced identity provider will occur automatically. You will browse to the BarTender Cloud website as usual and provide your user name and password. After you do this, an automated email message is sent to the email account that is linked to your BarTender Cloud account that includes your company's new organization domain ID and a link to sign in to the renamed organization, similar to the following image.

Changing the Domain ID

The enhanced identity provider might assign a random alphanumeric string as the initial organization domain ID. You can change this to a domain ID that reflects your company name by entering the domain ID that you want in the new Organization Domain ID field on the General page of the Manage Cloud Account view. For more information, refer to General Page.

After you do this, you receive an automated email message that contains the updated organization domain ID and link.

Note: You must forward this email message to all the users in your tenant so that they can sign in to BarTender Cloud by using the new organization domain ID. We recommend that you also instruct them to update their bookmarks and make a note of the updated domain ID.
