You can use the options on the Printing tab of the Settings view to customize how BarTender Cloud appears and behaves when users run print jobs.
Note:
To switch to the Settings view, click on the toolbar, and then click Settings. The Printing tab is displayed by default.

Use the following procedures to customize how BarTender Cloud behaves when users run a print job.
To keep the Print page open after the print job runs
By default, BarTender Cloud returns the user to the Print Console view after a print job runs. If instead you want the Print page to remain open, follow these steps:

Under Print Settings, clear the Automatically return to Document Selection screen after printing has completed checkbox.

Click Save.
To show the print confirmation dialog
By default, BarTender Cloud does not display a print confirmation dialog after a print job runs. If instead you want this dialog to be displayed, follow these steps:

Under Print Settings, clear the Skip Print Confirmation Dialog checkbox.

Click Save.
To change the maximum number of preview images to generate
By default, BarTender Cloud generates up to 100 preview images when a user clicks Preview on the Print page at print time. Depending on the number of items that your printed document contains, this feature can use a large amount of memory. If instead you want change the maximum number, follow these steps:

In the Maximum Number of Print Preview images to generate per request field under Print Settings, enter the number that you want.

Click Save.
To specify that documents are always saved or never saved after printing
By default, BarTender Cloud saves only documents that contain serialized fields after they are printed. If instead you want documents to always be saved or to never be saved, follow these steps:

In the Save documents after printing list under Print Settings, select either Always save documents or Never.

Click Save.
To print a document immediately
By default, BarTender Cloud displays the Print page when a document is selected for printing. This page provides print options, such as selecting a printer, changing the number of copies to print, specifying the number of serialized items to print, and opening the print preview. If instead you want the selected document to be printed immediately, follow these steps:

In the When a document is selected list under Print Settings, select Immediately print.

Click Save.
Use the following procedures to customize how the Print page appears to users at print time.
To make the Copies field read-only
By default, the Print page provides a Copies field so that users can change the number of copies that are printed, which overrides the number that is configured in the document. If instead you want this field to be read-only, follow these steps:

Under Print Settings, clear the Allow changes to print quantity checkbox.

Click Save.
To hide the Preview button
By default, the Print page provides a Preview button so that users can preview documents before they are printed. If instead you want this button not to be displayed, follow these steps:

Under Print Settings, clear the Allow print preview checkbox.

Click Save.
Use the following procedures to customize how the Print Console view appears to users.
To hide folders in the document selection pane
By default, the Print Console view displays both folders and documents that are not in folders in the document selection pane. If instead you want the folders not to be displayed, follow these steps:

Under Print Settings, clear the Show folders in browser checkbox.

Click Save.
To hide the folder navigation pane
By default, the Print Console view displays a folder navigation pane to the left of the document selection pane. If instead you want this pane not to be displayed, follow these steps:

Under Print Settings, clear the Show folder navigator checkbox.

Click Save.
To hide the search bar
By default, the Print Console view displays a search bar above the document selection pane. If instead you want the search bar not to be displayed, follow these steps:

Under Print Settings, clear the Allow document search checkbox.

Click Save.
To hide the view options
By default, the Print Console view displays View, Group By, and Sort By filtering options above the document selection pane. If instead you want these options not to be displayed, follow these steps:

Under Print Settings, clear the Show view options checkbox.

Click Save.
