Une police spécifie la police, le style et la taille de point du texte d'un document. BarTender supports TrueType, OpenType, and printer fonts.
The fonts that are installed with Windows by default and the Google Fonts fonts are either TrueType or OpenType fonts, including Arial, Courier New, Times New Roman, and many others. BarTender also provides two TrueType fonts that are optimized for optical character recognition: OCR-A et OCR-B. Ces polices sont couramment utilisées avec les codes-barres.

When you use TrueType fonts, BarTender ensures that what you see on your template is the same font that is printed on the item when you run a print job. OpenType fonts are an extension of TrueType fonts. They support international character sets and Unicode.
If your printer runs Drivers by Seagull, which are installed from Seagull Scientific, you can print your items by using printer fonts. Les polices d’imprimante sont enregistrées dans l’imprimante au lieu de l’ordinateur. In heavy production environments, using printer fonts means that items are printed more quickly. However, unlike with TrueType fonts, the font that appears on the template might not be the same font that is printed on your items.
