Inserting a New Template

You can add a new template to your document using either the design view tabs or the Page Setup dialog.

  1. At the bottom of the design area (either the Template Design view or the Data Entry Form view), click the tab. Alternatively, select Insert Template from a template or form tab's context menu.

  2. Using the new template's context menu, select Rename to open the Rename dialog and name the new template.

  1. From the File menu, select Page Setup to open the Page Setup dialog. Alternatively, click the icon on the main toolbar or double-click on a blank area of the template.

  2. Click on the Templates tab and select the directory where you wish to insert the new template.

  3. Click the icon on the template toolbar. Alternatively, select New Template from the folder's context menu.

  4. To rename the new template, click the icon on the template toolbar and enter the new name. Alternatively, in the Item Templates list, select Rename from the new template's context menu or click on the name itself to enter the new name.

  5. Click OK to close the Page Setup dialog and insert the new template into your document.
