Data Layers

The encoded data of an Aztec Code barcode is contained in data layers that spiral clockwise from the upper left corner of the finder pattern outward (skipping over the module positions that are occupied by the reference grid). Compact Aztec Code symbols can have from 1 to 4 data layers, while full-range Aztec Code symbols can have from 1 to 32 data layers. Use the Data Layers option to manually set the number of data layers for the barcode.
