Weighing Scale Setup Dialog

The Installed Scales tab lists all the scales that have been added for use with BarTender. If you have not yet added scales, the Add Scale wizard starts automatically when you access the Weighing Scale Setup dialog.

The following options are available:

• Add Scale: Starts the Add Scale wizard, which you can use to install a scale for use with applications in the BarTender Suite.

• Properties: Opens the Scale Properties dialog, which you can use to view and configure the selected scale.

• Copy: Creates a second installed instance of the selected scale.

• Delete: Removes the selected scale from the list of installed scales. After the scale is removed, BarTender can no longer access or use the scale, even if it is physically connected to your computer.

To ensure success when you add a scale for use with BarTender, we recommend that you install the scale on your computer before you start the Add Scale wizard.

The User-Defined Models tab lists any new custom scale models that you configure by using the Add Scale wizard. The following options are available:

• Edit: Opens the User-Defined Model Properties dialog, which you can use to view and configure the selected scale model.

• Delete: Removes the selected model from the list of user-defined models.

The User-Defined Protocols tab lists any new custom scale protocols that you configure by using the User-Defined Protocol Properties dialog. The following options are available:

• Edit: Opens the User-Defined Protocol Properties dialog, which you can use to view and configure the scale commands for the selected user-defined protocol.

• Delete: Removes the selected protocol from the list of user-defined protocols.
