Duplicate Dialog |
Use the Duplicate dialog to specify the number of copies that you want to create from selected objects and to configure how those copies are placed on the template relative to the original objects.
Alternatively, you can specify that the copies are placed on subsequent templates in the document, in the same location on those templates as the location of the original objects on the original template.
To open this dialog, use one of the following methods:
Select the objects that you want to duplicate, and then click Duplicate on the Arrange menu.
Right-click the object that you want to duplicate, click Arrange, and then click Duplicate.

To open the Duplicate dialog, select the objects that you want to duplicate, and then press Ctrl+D on your keyboard. |

If you specified more copies than the number of existing templates in the document, you receive a prompt for permission to create the necessary templates. If there are more templates than the specified number of copies, no copies are placed on the remaining templates. |
Clone data source values: Specifies that the copies are linked to the same data source values as the original objects. If the data source value of an original object is subsequently updated, the data source value of any duplicated copy is also updated.
