You can use BarTender to convert data that is imported from a database to a numeric, date, time, or binary format. When you click Type Conversion on the Data Sources property page, BarTender opens a Type Conversion dialog that is unique to the that is specified on Data Type tab.
The following Type Conversion dialogs are available.
The Convert to Number dialog is displayed when the data type is set to Number, Currency, Percentage, or Fraction.
The Convert to Date dialog is displayed when the data type is set to Date.
The Convert to Time dialog is displayed when the data type is set to Time.
The Convert to Binary dialog is displayed when the data type is set to Binary.
