Starting Position Dialog

The Starting Position dialog is a print-time dialog that is displayed at the beginning of a print job when you select the Select starting position at print-time option on the Page Setup dialog's Printing Order tab. By using the Starting Position dialog, you can select the specific item (or label) on the page of stock where you want the printer to begin printing your items. This dialog is available only for printer stock that is designed to print multiple items per page, such as laser or ink-jet printer labels.

The dialog shows a preview of the page of printer stock that you are using. Use the Printing Order tab on the Page Setup dialog to configure the starting position options. These options determine how the printed items are displayed on the preview page and specify the dialog fields that are available to use to indicate where you want printing to start.
