AutoFilter Row Tool

Use the AutoFilter Row tool, which you can access in the Select Records dialog or the Record Picker data entry control, to filter the displayed records within each individual column.

To use the AutoFilter Row tool, click Show AutoFilter Row on any column's context menu. A blank row appears immediately below the column headers and displays a Filter icon at the far left.

To search an individual column, click the blank AutoFilter Row cell beneath the column header that you want, and then start entering the filter value. The displayed records are filtered as you enter text.

You can filter the displayed records further by entering a filter value into the blank AutoFilter Row cell beneath another column. The displayed records that result from this second filter show only those records that met the first filter and then also the second filter.
