Administration Tab |
The Administration tab provides access to the standard file functions such as New, Open, Save, Save As, and Close. By using this tab, you can also open recently saved integrations, deploy integrations, and view and create global variables that can be used by any integration.
In the left navigation pane, the following options are available:
New: Opens a new instance of Integration Builder in the Start window. From here, you can create a new integration file.
Open: Opens the Open File dialog, where you can locate and then open an existing integration file.
Save: Saves the integration file. If the integration is new and was not previously saved, the Save As dialog is displayed when you click this option.
Save As: Displays the Save As dialog, in which you can save the open integration file by defining the name and specifying the location where you want it to be saved.
Close: Closes the open integration file without exiting Integration Builder and then displays the Start window. If you did not save the changes that you made to the open integration file, you are prompted to do so.
Recent: Lists integrations that you previously created. Click a listed integration to open it in a new instance of Integration Builder. When you right-click a listed integration, a menu is displayed that provides the following options:
Open: Opens the selected integration file.
Copy path to clipboard: Copies the path of the integration file to the clipboard.
Pin to list: Pins the integration file to the list of recent integration files. Pinned files remain in the list and are always available for you to click to open them.
Remove from list: Removes the selected file from the list of recent integration files, but does not delete the file.
Clear unpinned Integration Files: Removes any unpinned integration files from the list of recent integration files.
Deploy: Displays the Deploy page, where you can configure and schedule integration file deployments. You can use this page to add new deployment configurations to your integration file and to edit, remove, or view messages about the deployments.
Options: Displays the Options page, where you can specify a name and description for the integration file. You can also view predefined global variables that are available for use by all integrations in the currently selected integration file and create your own custom global variables.
Help: Provides options for you to access help and product information about BarTender.
Exit: Exits Integration Builder. If you did not save the changes that you made to the open integration file, you are prompted to do so.
