Using the History Explorer Interface |
To start History Explorer, use one of the following methods:
On the BarTender Tools menu, click History Explorer.
On the Windows Start menu, click All Programs, expand the BarTender folder, and then click History Explorer.
The History Explorer user interface consists of the main window and its panes and their toolbars, which make it easy to view and organize messages and print job information, and the status bar, which appears at the bottom of the main window and displays the current status of the connection between History Explorer and the BarTender System Database, as follows:
When History Explorer and the BarTender System Database are connected correctly, the text System Database Server and the name of the currently connected BarTender System Database are displayed.
If the connection is broken, the text System Database Server: Not Connected is displayed.
Use this pane to select the History Explorer pane that you want to use to filter and display detailed information for each record in the BarTender System Database.
Use this toolbar to connect to the BarTender System Database, copy data, or refresh the user interface.
Use the options on the main menu bar to configure and manage History Explorer and the data that it contains and to access other companion applications and support information.
