Verifier Setup Page

Use the Verifier Setup page of Administration Console to create verifier configurations that specify which verifier device driver to use and the configuration properties that are appropriate for the driver. The following options are available.

Configurations

The Configurations pane of the Verifier Setup page displays a list of verifier configurations. You can click a configuration in the list to rename it and to view and edit its settings and properties in the Verifier Settings pane. By using the toolbar at the bottom of the pane, you can add, remove, or copy a configuration, as follows:

Opens the New Verifier Configuration dialog so that you can add a new verifier configuration.

Removes the selected configuration from the list.

Duplicates the settings for the selected configuration and adds a copy of the configuration to the list.

Refresh : Refreshes the configurations list.

Verifier Settings

The Verifier Settings pane lists options for the selected verifier configuration. You can double-click the value for the selected setting to modify it. The following options are available:

Comment: Optionally, enter a comment that describes this verifier instance.
Location: Optionally, enter the location that describes where the verifier device can be found.
User Name: Enter the user name to use for accessing the Omron V275 server application.
Password: Enter the password to use to access the Omron V275 server application.
V275 Device IP Address: Enter the network IP address or the name of the computer that is hosting the V275 device. When BarTender is installed on the same computer that is hosting the V275 device, enter localhost (which is the default).

To obtain the IP address, use Windows Remote Desktop to sign in to the V275 server application by using a relevant account, and then enter the ipconfig command at a command prompt.

V275 Device Port: Enter the TCP port that is used to control the V275 verification scanner.
Verification Templates Folder: Enter the path of the directory that contains the V275 job verification templates. The default path is as follows:

C:\ProgramData\Seagull\BarTender\Verification Templates
Seconds to wait before resuming a paused print job: Enter the number of seconds that you want the verifier to wait before resuming a print job that was paused due to a label error.

Reset to Defaults: Restores the default settings for the configuration.
